Prosthodontics
Prosthodontics can restore teeth damaged by decay, injury or root canal treatment, and replace missing teeth with crowns, bridges or dentures.
Treatment planning begins with a consultation. The dentist assesses the supporting teeth, gums and bite before discussing possible options.
Treatments and restorations
- Temporary acrylic crowns
- Porcelain-fused-to-metal and zirconia crowns
- Full and partial dentures
- Inlays, onlays, overlays and direct composite overlays
- Custom post-and-core restorations
- Occlusal splints for bruxism or excessive loading of the jaw joints
- Prosthetic repairs, including cementation, removal and adding a tooth to an existing denture
Prosthodontic treatment may follow implant or root canal treatment. The dentist coordinates the stages according to the individual treatment plan. See the current fees in our price list.
